after intense chemo treatments
the doctors informed joshua that he is in remission
this does not mean that the leukemia is gone
it simply means that he is closer
to being accepted for bone marrow transplant
the doctor explained it like this…
it is like having a car plant that is not producing cars
the equipment to make cars is still there
they just aren’t making any right now
so with joshua’s remission
the leukemia is still present
it is just not producing any “blast cells” now
we need it to remain this way
until joshua can receive a bone marrow biopsy
we are currently waiting for nih in bethesda, md
to accept joshua into a bone marrow transplant trial
this is by far the best hospital for joshua’s type of leukemia
please continue to pray with us
that joshua will be made completely whole
whether it be by instant miracle
or the process of healing
we are walking in faith & trust…
we also need everyone to register with marrow.org
to see if you are a bone marrow match for someone
you could save a life

“are you a match”
thank you so much

Praise God that Joshua is in remission. My hubby was diagnosed with lung cancer around the same time that Joshua was diagnosed with Leukemia. He is on week 11 of chemo…but I know if God did it 4 Joshua he can do it for Richard. I will continue praying for you and your family for complete healing.
Peace, Blessing and Balance
