new country artist Randy Montana
has a debut new single, “ain’t much left of loving you”
that is available right now on itunes
the video to this song will be featured on
CMT Insider’s “New Music this saturday (3.20.10) at 1:30pm ET
and the single will be released to radio
this monday, march 22
why do i care?
because my brother, Joshua
co-wrote the song!
and it is also his debut radio single
Joshua has been in Nashville writing professionally
for many years now
and while he has written with the best writers
and has had songs recorded by great artists
and even had songs picked for movie soundtracks
this is his first radio single
it seems just like God to me
that after all these years of hard work
that Joshua would have a song go to radio
while he is in the fight of his life
so i was thinking…
wouldn’t it be great for Joshua to have his debut single
become a hit while he is going through this transplant process
we can help make that happen
what if each of us contacted our local country radio stations and requested the song
then we told all of our
family
friends
acquaintances
and even enemies
to do the same
then we facebooked
and tweeted it
and retweeted it (#makeitahit)
then we could all go download it from itunes right now
click here to do just that
and then do all of this again several times over
now wouldn’t that be cool?
ok then lets do it…
on your mark
get set
GO!
go check out the single here

My 16 year old son Mckenzie Bowman was diagnosed with ALL Leukemia Valentines Day 2005. He went into remission 28 days later. Was in remission for a year and a half doing extremely well with his treatmants which included chemo. On Nov. 8th the following year he was diagnosed with a secondary cancer caused from his treatment meds. After a mis diagnosis in Pensacola Florida I had him transported by life flight jet to UAB Childrens Hospital in Birmingham Alabama where he under went a stem cell transplant with his baby sister Lalie was a perfect 10 out of a 10 match. We were told that there was only a 25% change that a full blooded sibling would be a match. This was a miracle!!! The only way they could have been a closer match is if they were twins. In a way they were because they were extremely close. I was a single parent of three when they were 2, 4 and 8. They day before Mac was to be released from transplant to come back home to Destin, which was LiveSTRONG day, we got the most horrifing news that his cancer was back. A few weeks later we were flown by UAB jet to The University of Minnasota for a study triple cord blood transplant. To keep a long story short, my baby went into a un explainable coma and passed away on Nov.2 2007. I lost a part of my self that day. Joshua reminds me so much of my Mckenzie and I feel God and Mac has lead me to follow his progress. I will do any and everything possible to be there and support Josh in the time of miracle healing. God bless you all for being such a wonderful support system for such a strong, strong young man. I sure hope to meet Josh face to face one day and share stories of cancer and survival together.
