A MESSAGE FROM JOHN ABOUT THE SOUND
i am so excited about the sound [a live recording]. this is the recording that i have been carrying in my heart for a long time. for years i have longed to record a live worship experience that went beyond a recording, and actually became a vehicle for convergence. i feel that was accomplished on this recording.
there were moments on the night that we recorded the sound where we could hear and feel heaven and earth coming together. with the experienced and anointed guidance of legendary engineer & producer, jeff balding these amazing moments were transferred to this recording.
along with the sound of heaven and earth, the sound has the convergence of excellence and anointing. joined by many of the most sought after musicians in nashville, we were able to blend different styles of music to make one sound.
we also had some of our favorite folks join us to sing on the sound. we were honored to have anthony skinner, lindell cooley, as well as my powerful little sister, shi-anne ragsdale eakin. these folks certainly took the recording to the next level.
all of these components combined are what make the sound an album that i am so honored and happy to be a part of. i pray you will be taken to a place of glory and grace as you experience the sound.
